Celebrate National Patient Safety Awareness Week with UIHC patient safety staff and librarians to learn about the consumers’ role in their safety as a patient. Our speakers will present an introduction to patient safety for consumers, highlight UHIC programs that support quality and safety improvements and discuss the launch of a new training program to help educators throughout the state bring the patient safety message to their communities.

The kick-off event will be held at UIHC during National Patient Safety Awareness Week March 6th, 2008 from 4:15 – 6:00 pm.

Program planners are encouraged to attend this event and the subsequent training session most convenient to their location.
